Born in Queens, NY and raised in Bellmore, NY I've grown up with numerous passions and various interests. Since my early childhood, I've been a gamer having played games on everything from NES on. Now at 21 I continue to game as much as I can, only I share that tradition online by writing about and reviewing games across multiple websites I write for as well as my university magazine. Other than gaming I do plenty of other things as well. I'm a big skate and snowboarder and a huge fan of hockey (let's go Islanders!). If I'm not gaming or skating you can generally find me programming some software for phones and computers, or building small robots.
- Wellington C. Mepham High School -
I attended Mepham High School in Bellmore NY from 2009 through 2012 and graduated with near perfect grades. While in high school I took various courses ranging from the required math, science and english classes to the very fun electives of photography and computer science. I also took some non-required science and math courses just for fun, like physics and trigonometry and pre-calculus.
- SUNYIT/ SUNY POLY -
After high school I began attending SUNYIT which has since changed its name to SUNY Poly. I am still attending the school with plans to graduate with my bachelors degree in Computer Science and a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies one semester earlier than planned next December. I've taken a whole lot of classes here, including Compiler Design, Principals of Programming Languages, Video Game Design, numerous Web Design and Web Development classes as well as multiple Marketing classes and even a constitutional law class. Currently my GPA is resting at 3.4 and I've made the deans list consecutively. While being a student here, I've also been the Lead Designer and a writer at the university magazine The Factory Times.
- Prospective Employment -
I'm primarily looking for job within the gaming industry but I'm very open minded. If you are a company with an interesting product and are looking for dedicated programmers interested in changing the world, I encourage you to contact me. I have experience writing software for Windows, Mac OSX, Linux, Android as well as writing firmware for Arduino and Raspberry Pi based projects. I'm overly experienced with Visual Studio, MonoDevelop, Eclipse, Android Studio, Notepad++ and many more development systems.
- Past Employment -
Summit Distribution - 5/14 Present - Intern
At Summit I do a little bit of everything. I maintain the product databases ensuring all items on our web-store are accurate and up to date as well as the processing of orders and shipments. On occasion I've even put in physical work over in Summits warehouse.
3AM Computing - 09/10 07/13 - Co-Founder and developer
Back in high school I launched a web development company with my friends Michael Moskie and Josh Haimson. Together we developed numerous websites for a series of local clients. The sites we developed had consisted from both basic Wordpress set-ups to entirely custom builds. While we operated the company I served as Lead Developer and occasional designer. After 3 strong years, we disbanded due to each of us moving away to different colleges.
Birch Wathen Lenox - 06/07 08/12 - IT Assistant
The place that started it all for me. The Birch Wathen Lenox private school in Manhattan brought me in as an IT Assistant when I was still in Middle School. I worked there for over 5 years re-wiring classrooms, setting up and configuring access points, repairing and replacing damaged items, and even occasionally on need cutting through and repairing sheetrock walls. If a task is IT related it is probably something I did while working at BWL.
Programming Languages I am fluent in: ASP.NET, C, C++, C#, CSS, HTML, Java, Javascript, MYSQL, PHP, Python, Visual Basic, XML. I have experience using Visual Studio, MonoDevelop, Eclipse, Android Studio, Unity Game Engine, Unreal Engine and Notepad++. I actively use Windows 7 and Ubuntu 14.04, though I am very familiar with Mac OSX thanks to years of experience working with MacBooks and iMacs.
